Your trusted source and guide to all things broadway

The Backstage Blonde®– your trusted source and guide to all things Broadway.

Hi, I’m Teale.

Sitting in the front row of the Booth Theatre at 19-years-old, my life changed forever. Back then, I was a big-dreaming theater kid from Clearwater, Florida who was watching an enrapturing evening performance of Next to Normal. That show intoxicated me, sweeping me away with its artistry, and right then, I made up my mind that one day I was going to work on Broadway.

By the time I was 24, I achieved my dream, and since 2015, I’ve been a Costumer on some of the most popular shows on the Great White Way. These experiences taught me that some of the quirkiest characters in a theater can be found backstage and that the most exciting drama often unfolds behind the curtain and inspired me to start my brand.

My tours take you on a winding walk through my Manhattan neighborhood: The Theatre District. While no two tours end up being the same (because you never know who we’re going to run into while exploring!) I strive for every tour to be entertaining, inspirational and educational. I truly believe there is nothing like the magic of live theater and I’m passionate about deepening people’s appreciation for Broadway while educating about this long standing American industry.
