The Backstage Blonde® – your trusted source and guide to all things Broadway.

Hi, I’m Teale.

Sitting in the front row of the Booth Theatre as a teenager, my life changed forever. Back then, I was a big-dreaming theater kid from Florida who was watching an enrapturing evening performance of Next to Normal. That show intoxicated me, sweeping me away with its artistry, and right then, I made up my mind that one day I was going to work on Broadway.

A few years after my college graduation, I achieved my dream, and since then, I’ve been a Costumer on some of the most popular shows on the Great White Way. These experiences taught me that some of the quirkiest characters in a theater can be found backstage and that the most exciting drama often unfolds behind the curtain and inspired me to start giving Broadway tours.

I truly believe there is nothing like the magic of live theater and I’m passionate about deepening people’s appreciation for Broadway while educating about this long standing American industry.
