New York City & Broadway Adventures Unveiled
On The Road: Samantha Pollino
Today's edition of On The Road features my beautiful friend Samantha Pollino! Sam hails from Baltimore, Maryland and earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Cincinnati. In 2006 she made her Broadway debut in the musical Hot Feet. Since then she was an original member of the 2016 Hamilton Chicago cast (ensemble), in 2018 came back to Broadway in Head Over Heels (ensemble and Philoclea understudy), and has been a member of the touring Hamilton Philip company since 2019. Sam recently took a leave of absence from tour so she could originate an ensemble role in the new musical Bliss, which just finished a successful run in Seattle! I am so proud of this dynamic beauty and am excited for you to get to know her better!
On The Road: Darilyn Castillo
As Black History Month comes to a close, I wanted to finally feature the gorgeous and mega talented Darilyn Castillo! She is a New York native and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at The City College of New York. Darilyn is best known for playing Peggy Schulyer/Maria Reynolds in the touring company of Hamilton.
On The Road: Austin Scott
Today’s edition of On The Road features the incredibly talented Austin Scott! Austin grew up in Benicia, California, and is a San Francisco State University alum. You might recognize him from his time on the Hamilton national tour in which he played the title role of Alexander Hamilton. While Austin was in Washington, D.C., with the tour back in August, he met up with my friend Karl Magnuson, and they got some epic shots of him around the Capital! I’m so excited for you to meet my new friend. Make sure to check him out on Instagram AND on Broadway where he is currently starring as Hamilton!
On The Road: Chaundre Hall-Broomfield
This edition of On The Road features the handsome and talented Chaundre Hall-Broomfield! Dre is a Newburgh, NY, native and earned a BFA in acting from Purchase College. He’s currently traveling around the country with Hamilton's Angelica tour! Dre plays the roles of Hercules Mulligan and James Madison, so when his company was in Washington, D.C., I absolutely had to get a picture of him next to the Madison statue in the Library of Congress! I love how Dre's personality shines through all of these images. I hope you enjoy getting to know my new friend as much as I have!
On The Road: Shoba Narayan
Today's edition of On The Road features my beautiful new friend Shoba Narayan! Shoba is a Pennsylvania native and is currently starring as Eliza Hamilton on the Philip national tour. Before this, she was in the 12-time Tony nominated musical Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812. In that role, she made Broadway headlines in 2017 by being the first South Asian female in a principal role in more than a decade. I am thrilled for you guys to get to know this strong female lead and find out what she loves about playing Eliza!
