Kaleigh's NYC Bachelorette Party: Part 2
Hello hello hello and welcome to Part 2 of Kaleigh’s Bachelorette Party!
Have no fear - this isn’t turning into a bridal blog, it’s just going to be a little wedding heavy while I properly recap all of my bridesmaid adventures. On June 13, 2019 I threw a bachelorette party/lingerie shower for my best friend, Kaleigh! I was so happy with how everything turned out and Kaleigh was absolutely thrilled with the outcome so I wanted to share all the details with you!
Here’s a little recap:
The bride and I decided that instead of a separate bachelorette weekend, I would throw a party at the hotel Sixty LES the night before the wedding to keep things simple. We booked a hotel suite with two giant couches, a dining room table and chairs, and a small kitchen complete with two mini refrigerators. The queen size bed folded up into the wall so we had plenty of space to host 14 girls. Honestly, having Kaleigh’s bachelorette party the night before the wedding was one of our best ideas. Wedding receptions are always a crazy blur so I was thankful Kaleigh got to spend quality time with all of her closest friends that night. Plus all of her girlfriends were happy because they didn’t have to drop a bunch of cash on traveling to an expensive destination bachelorette party!
As the Maid of Honor, I decided to throw Kaleigh’s bachelorette party the night before the wedding. Kaleigh loves quality time and being cozy! So I invited 13 of her closest girlfriends to join us and asked everyone to wear black leggings and bring lingerie to shower our bride with. Kaleigh and I had custom t-shirts made for everyone that read “love you to death” because we really love matching!
After the rehearsal dinner we headed over to the hotel where my wonderful party planner and photographer, Lauren Lucile Creative, had been decorating the suite.
Big thanks to some of our fabulous sponsors for helping us transform the suite!

As the guests arrived we started popping bottles and everyone changed into their matching t-shirts. I think matching outfits and just such a cute touch and look great in pictures!
Before all the girls sat down we went ahead and took tons of cute pictures! I’ve found that it’s always best to get the photoshoot out of the way before the party truly begins.
Once everyone was settled on the couches I had every girl introduce herself and tell a story about when they first met Kaleigh. It was the perfect way to kick off the night because Kaleigh’s college sorority sisters had never met her NYC friends!
Kaleigh was ecstatic because she just really wanted a fun cozy night in with her favorite girls! The party had all of her favorite things: lots of pink, wine, cheese, cuddles, story telling and quality time!
Stay tuned for part 3!
