On The Road: Josh Davis

Today’s edition of On The Road features the fantastic actor Josh Davis. He is currently starring as the menacing inspector Javert in the National Tour of the legendary show Les Miserables. Josh is a Maryland native, University of Delaware graduate and an artist and producer. In 2014, Josh made his Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning show Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. He is also my current tour crush, and I included a video at the bottom of this post of him singing “Stars” so you’ll understand why. I know you all will enjoy this interview and I hope you’ll get to visit Josh and the rest of this incredible company on the barricade when they pass through your city!

Broadway Sessions: Interview With Broadway Performer Courtney Iventosch

For the third edition of Broadway Sessions, I am thrilled to introduce my beautiful friend Courtney Iventosch! She is a member of the Female Ensemble at Wicked, so you might recognize her from my Instagram. Courtney and I spend a ton of time together backstage, and she makes me smile without fail every single day. She is an insanely talented dancer and is truly a little fire ball of energy and sunshine. We first met about a year ago while Courtney was covering another girl’s vacation leave of absence. (Often times at Wicked they bring in actors from the touring company or Wicked alumni to cover for people on Broadway. Courtney first joined the Wicked family in 2010). Toward the end of her contract, we found out in the happiest twist of fate that she was being offered a full-time ensemble track on Broadway!! I was OVERJOYED! (The girl she replaced - who I also love very much - left us for Frozen. Small musical. You’ve probably never heard of it.) Anyways, Courtney is a San Jose State University alumni and California native. She made her Broadway debut in the hit musical Something Rotten! I’m so excited for you to get to know my adorable friend, and I hope you love her interview!

Lauderdale, I set up a little photoshoot for Allison just for fun with local photographer Joel Henson. I love these pictures of her and absolutely had to feature them on my blog. Below, you can also check out some questions Intern Caitlin and I thought you might like her to answer. I hope you enjoy!

In 2013, he played the Phantom in the 25th anniversary tour of The Phantom of the Opera. Currently, Mark is touring the country while starring as Scar in the highly-acclaimed musical The Lion King. (You’ve probably never heard of it..) While the tour was in Birmingham, Alabama, I set up a photoshoot for Mark with the awesome local photographer Rylo Creative.
