On The Road: Desi Oakley

Desi is currently starring as the lead character Jenna in the first national tour of the hit Broadway musical, Waitress. I was able to set up a photo shoot for her while the show was in Des Moines, Iowa, with the phenomenal local photographer, Sam Fathallah. I am obsessed with these pictures and her heartfelt interview. Hopefully, some of you will be able to see Desi as she travels across the country with Waitress, but if you can't make the show, you should definitely check out her solo album! (My favorite song from it is White Butterfly.) Anyways, I just know you all are going to love her as much as I do.

Teale's Top Ten: NYC Tourist Activities

On The Road: Talia Robinson

For the second installment of On The Road I'm happy to introduce you to my new friend, Talia Robinson. We virtually met recently through a mutual friend she attended Emerson College with. Talia is currently on the road with the national tour of Les Miserable. She is an ensemble member who also understudies two of the iconic lead roles: Fantine and Eponine. Recently she had to go on for both roles on the same day which is just incredible! So I hope you enjoy her interview and these absolutely stunning pictures taken in Nashville by the talented photographer Sav Walters.

Backstage Sessions: Interview With Broadway Costumer Ashley Timm

I am super excited to share another Backstage Sessions interview with all of you featuring one of my favorite Broadway dresser babes, Ashley Timm! I thought December was an appropriate month to post this interview, because the classic show Ashley is currently working on, Cats, closes at the end of the month. We met years ago through my bestie LJ and really bonded when she started working with me as a swing dresser at the musical Aladdin. I adore Ashley because she is hilarious, incredibly kind, inspires me to live my best life and gives the best bear hugs. I hope you all enjoy Ashley's interview and taking a little peek backstage at the Neil Simon Theatre!
