New York City & Broadway Adventures Unveiled
Broadway dancers turn the light on in Times Square
I am so excited to share something special with you all today! Earlier this week after our shows ended, Rob Harmon and I gathered a group of our Broadway friends in Times Square to film a music video remake of the hit Maggie Rogers song “Light On”. The world feels a little dark right now so we wanted to share some light and joy - from the brightest part of New York City! I hope this video makes you as happy as it has made us!
The Best Pizza in NYC
My love affair with pizza began at a young age. It has been my favorite for as long as I can remember! So back in February, my bestie LJ and I had a fun little photoshoot to celebrate National Pizza Day! These pictures inspired me to do some research and compile a list (in no particular order) of some of the best pizza places in Manhattan. I hope this post helps guide you as you eat your way through New York!
Teale's Top Ten: NYC Tourist Activities
I receive messages pretty much almost everyday from people asking what they should do on their trip to New York City. NYC can be a daunting place to tackle as a tourist because there's just so much to see and do (and eat)! So I thought I would make up a little list of things I recommend people check out while visiting my glorious city. NYC truly is the greatest city in the world and I just want everyone to love it as much as I do!
31st Annual BCEFA Broadway Flea Market
One of my favorite Broadway events throughout the year was hands down the Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction. Every year, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS holds an annual flea market to raise money for their cause. At this year’s event onSunday, Sept. 24, all previous records were broken and $1,023,309 was raised! The Flea Market was held in Shubert Alley and along West 44th and 45th Streets. It is always such a beautiful day watching the Broadway community and thousands of loyal Broadway fans come together to support an organization we all believe in.
New York Fashion Week 2017
This was my third season dressing New York Fashion Week, and as I'm sure you can imagine, it is always a wild experience. This season I was given the opportunity to dress three shows: Carolina Herrera, Coach, and Delpoza. I thought it would be fun to show you guys pictures from my backstage experience and of the models I dressed this year. While I was sitting on the floor backstage by my rack of clothes at the Coach show James Franco walked right past me! I genuinely hope the childlike adrenaline and butterflies I get before dressing a fashion show never go away.
